Does the DPF need a regeneration cycle after fitting?
Yes, it is recommended to perform a forced regeneration after installation to initialise the new filter correctly. Your mechanic can do this with a diagnostic scan tool.
Is professional fitting recommended?
Yes. DPF replacement involves disconnecting O2 sensors, exhaust seals, and in some cases exhaust back-pressure sensors. We recommend having this fitted by a qualified diesel mechanic.

All orders are provided with a tracking number and must be signed for when receiving goods.

2. Performex Auto is happy to offer replacement items (no refunds) if: the item is dead on arrival or damaged, a manufacturing fault with the Product, or an incorrect item was sent
3. If you have purchased an item, and you would like to return it, we can offer you a refund less a 15% restocking fee to cover Postage & Handling
4. Performex Auto Warranty does not cover any Labor cost (It is the customer's responsibility to check they have been sent the correct parts, before attempting fitting)
5. Transport costs are refundable when a warranty issue has been appropriately recognized and acknowledged by the appropriate staff members at Performex Auto
